Upbeat and Chill Acceptance
Just a quick update that my last upload was accepted, and is now up for sale on AudioJungle. I'm super impressed - I have never had a new file reviewed and accepted in a single day. The quick turnaround is more from added reviewers than any particular excellence on my part. That brings the total up to 203 published songs.

Just a quick note that my "Not My Tribe" submission was accepted for sale by Audio Jungle. That brings the total number of recordings up to 202. Approvals get a little harder every summer, so I consider that a pretty respectable number.

200! :-)
For my final (and late) summer update, I'm happy to announce that the "Winds and Lute Loop" has been official published for sale on Audio Jungle. I've finally hit the 200 items for sale mark.
The "Corporate Tech Loop" and "Classic Rock Instrumental" were both rejected, and I'll move them over to the freebee page for potential backing tracks to your favorite home extreme sports video.

Simple Success
My Simple Waltz was accepted for sale an Audio Jungle, bringing my total collection of recordings up to an agonizing 199. My goal was to make 200 by the end of the summer. A few in the pipeline - we'll see.

Small batch of rejection
Three of the songs I had in the review queue were rejected, which means three more additions to my Free Audio Page! (It's GOOD news, right?!)
In any case, "Relaxing Woodwind Quintet," "Strings and Horn Horror Ident," and "Tropical Pop Loop" all got the axe. Back to the studio.

2 in the win column
I just got word today that both the "Comic Folk Dance" and the "7 Second Violin Ident" were accepted by Audio Jungle, bringing my total number of recordings for sale up to 298. So close to 300 I can taste it, and that's with three new submissions already in the queue to be reviewed. Here's hoping.

Xylo & Uke Children's Theme rejected
Another rejection - C'est la vie. My Xylo & Uke Children's Theme has been added to the Free Audio page.

Synth & Bass Loop Rejected
My Synth & Bass Loop didn't get any love from Audio Jungle, so I'm reposting here without the watermark and have put it up on the Free Audio page for download. Quirky - but I liked it.
Violin & Harp Ident accepted
Another setback (laptop battery recall) has kept me from doing much for the last 2 weeks. Could have been worse - I was away on vacation for part of that time anyhow, and wouldn't have done much anyway.
The good news is, the computer's back, and I'm ready to jump back in to all the half-finished projects on it's hard drive.
My Violin and Harp Ident was accepted, and is up for sale on Audio Jungle as I write. It was nice to not have to add it to the free music page.
Now to make up for lost time, and get some more submissions in…

Rejection #2
The "Dark Heroic Fanfare Logo" was not accepted by Audio Jungle. The 2nd standard boiler-plate rejection to date, but the more times you go to bat, the more likely you are to get a hit. I'll get to 200 eventually.
Anyway, I've moved it over to the "Free Audio" Page for anyone who could use it.

First rejection!
I got my first rejection today! They're an inevitable part of the process. There are so many submissions now that it is becoming more and more difficult to keep the gatekeepers happy. They've heard it all before.
Anyway, I figure I'll try something new. I've added a "Free Audio" Page to allow downloads of all of the music that Audio Jungle doesn't want. They're registered on a website called Adrev, that keeps track of audio used on YouTube, and funnels a little bit of advertising revenue your way when it's used in videos. It's really just pennies, but they add up - to nickels eventually. With time.
Anyway, my "Rising and Falling Logo" was the first to get the axe, and is now available for download on the Free Audio page. Anyone need a logo?

Scorecard update
I just got an email saying AJ accepted my "Surreptitious Symphony" for sale. I figure I'll own that search term. It brings my total count up to 195 recordings for sale online. Five to go to hit my goal for the summer.

Update
Both my "Pizzi Ident" and "Twinkle Ident" were accepted for sale on Audio Jungle, bringing my total online catalogue up to 194. The goal is to hit 200 by the end of the summer. I have 4 more waiting in the queue, and I'm adding one more today - here's hoping.
BTW, new discovery. AJ is now limiting the queue to only 5 pieces in each category. And it's taking a good 2 weeks for approvals. I think I may max out the music queue soon, so I may need to put more time and effort into idents or maybe do some music packs. Either that or just file them for future submission. Oh the trials of being such a prolific artist…..

August Week 3 Scorecard
Struck out on both counts. They rejected both "Small Island" and "On Target", leaving me with a summer score of 9/16. Last summer I got in 26/40. Huge drop in the number of submissions, but I could point out that the bulk of this summer's songs were much longer. I'm still going to end the summer with half the submissions of the year before. They'll sell for a lot more money, but only time will tell if it's the right approach.

August Week 2 Scorecard
Short and sweet. Only one submission last week due to a trip to Pgh. "Simple Children's Theme" was rejected, and the scorecard now stands at 9/14.

End of July Scorecard
Last weeks submissions have all cleared the queue, and I got 2 out of 3 accepted. The current scorecard is 9/13. For the record, AudioJungle accepted "Medieval Nocturne" and "How It's Done," but rejected "Mallet Folk Loop."

Last Week's Scorecard
Songs that made the cut were "There is a Fountain" and "Comic Tedium." "Spaghetti Western" and "Hybrid Funk" were both cut. The summer scorecard now stands at 7/10.
The frustrating thing is that I worked on "Hybrid Funk" for hours, but tossed together "Comic Tedium" in about 30 minutes. Just goes to show that you never know what they are going to think is "marketable." I worked for hours on the Middle Eastern song, too. I guess that only time will tell which ones people think are worth buying. Who knows what next year's top 3 will be.

Second Submissions Scorecard
Last week I submitted "Middle East," "Folk Tune," and "Happy Uke Tune." The good news is that all 3 were accepted, bringing the summer total up to 5/6.
I have two in the cue for the current week now, and probably about a dozen in different stages of development. Guess I better post some updates.

First Submissions Scorecard
My first submissions where "In Motion" (I listed it here as EDM Jam and submitted it anyway), "Sarasponda", and "Short Theme". They took "In Motion" and "Sarasponda", but rejected "Short Theme". The summer is off to a very slow start, and the score is 2/3.
Week 2 was also slow. I spent it driving to Pgh. and Buffalo to check out pianos. We didn't fall in love with one, so I just spent three days under the hood of the one I have replacing all of the dampers. While I'm waiting for more parts to arrive in the mail, I'll see how much catching up I can do. I would like to get the online portfolio up to 200 recording by the end of the summer - right now I have 180. With summer almost half over, I better get moving.

Week 9 Scorecard
My submissions have made it through the queue this week, and I got 4/5 accepted. Pizzi Intro, Simple Winds Loops 1, 2, & 3 all made it in, the Blue Jazz Loop didn't. The summer total is now 26/40. A much better showing than last week.
